Zu Ming Ho ""Buddha's Temple""

 ZU MING HO

Buddha's Temple

Ornate and thought provoking, Zu Ming Ho’s work combines Western paintings with his Eastern roots. Born in China in 1949, Ho was influenced by French Impressionists such as Degas and Renoir, and American portrait painters John Singer Sargent and James Whistler. Ho’s Western style of painting landed him in a forced labor camp for ten years. After his release he began to create pieces rich in meaning and elegance.
