Aromatics of lime, lemon, apricot and mango with hints of cucumber, lemongrass and white pepper. On the palate, the wine is bright with grapefruit, passionfruit and white peach. Hints of jasmine, fresh cut grass and jalapeño add to the refreshing, crisp finish.
92pts Wine Spectator "Fresh and effusive, with lemongrass, lemon verbena and fresh ginger notes to complement the core of juicy lemon-lime, green apple and ruby grapefruit flavors. Juicy and mouthwatering on the vibrant finish."
92pts Tasting Panel "A charming modern wine with a fresh nose and a floral, juicy palate. Layered, ripe, and tangy, with a lovely balance of interesting elements."
90pts Wine Enthusiast "Stainless-steel fermented without the use of oak for aging, this perennially impressive white is inviting in floral aromas of honeysuckle and apple blossom. Crisp layers of stone fruit keep it fresh and fruity."
Dry Creek Vineyard was established in 1972 and is Dry Creek Valley's flagship winery located in the heart of Sonoma County, California. As the region's first new winery following Prohibition, founder David Stare paved the way for a viticultural rebirth in this vibrant wine growing appellation. Among other industry benchmarks, Dry Creek Vineyard is recognized as the first winery to plant Sauvignon Blanc in the Dry Creek Valley, and was also the first to use the term "Meritage" with the 1985 vintage.
Dave's daughter, Kim Stare Wallace, now serves as President overseeing a successful family winemaking and grape growing business that includes 185 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards. Dry Creek Vineyard is firmly committed to a "No Compromises" philosophy, producing appellation-focused, terroir-driven, varietal-defining wines, including Heritage Vines Zinfandel, which was selected as a Wine Spectator "Top 100" Wine of 2019. Named one of the Top 100 wineries of 2015 by Wine & Spirits Magazine and a Top 10 Tasting Room by USA TODAY, the winery is also 100% Certified Sustainable. Dry Creek Vineyard proudly produces delicious Dry Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Heritage blends as well as a portfolio of single vineyard selections.
