Melissa is “a God taught artist” who picked up a paintbrush in 2012 and never looked back….no college, no art school, just a love of art. Her paintings reflect the state of her soul, a constant reflection on peace and gratitude, and a desire to appreciate and enjoy Gods creation. Lyons is also a military wife who proudly serves alongside her husband. This patriotic piece is her heartfelt rendition of Old Glory, sometimes bruised, but always standing proud and resolute.
