Apiaria is proud to offer an eclectic and diverse collection of curated art, vintage photography and sports collectibles adorned with premium quality custom framing. Our designers strive to match each work of art with a framing treatment that enhances the beauty and visual impact of each piece. If you prefer a different frame design, color or change in any framing detail, just let us know and we are happy to assist.
Apiaria's framing process is custom-tailored to each piece, whether photograph, art piece, or sports collectible. All mats and frames are cut and designed to custom-size to fit each item exactly. Our frames are made with high-quality, wood moulding exclusively. We use Premium Clear glass for crystal-clear clarity on most of our pieces. For our oversized items, we use Plexiglass for durability. For our rare and one-of-a-kind items, we use Museum-Grade quality framing techniques, from Museum-Grade glass and acid-free foam board backing to not only show off the art well but to also preserve the art for years to come.
Giclée: Fine art digital prints made with inkjet printers
Lithograph: A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials such as crayons or special grease pencils. Then, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples.
Matting: A thin, flat piece of paper-based material included within the framing, which adds decoration in presentation and separates the art from the glass.
Serigraph: An art print made through the silkscreen printing technique. This method was made popular for fine art prints in the 60s with Pop Artists like Andy Warhol.
We carry many one-of-a-kind or exclusive fine art and collectibles. With these extra special pieces we include a Certificate of Authenticity, which ensures that we've researched and verified that your item is indeed accurately distinguished.
